This is the mosaic mirror referenced in the post below. A large mirror surrounded by 1" mirror tiles. Spectacular light reflection.
I'm making two more of these to flank the bed in the bedroom - and ultimately, if I move or want a change, I have three that match and can be hinged together for a screen.
It would be cool with an aged/mottled/old looking mirror as well. I don't know how well it would go in a colored room, but in a white room it brings in an amazing life.
Note: White bath; Antique white (oil base) walls, white tile including ceiling above tub/shower area (built in niche, too), lace curtain, white fixtures, white cabinetry. Just added faux tin ceiling, deciding on flooring. Basic feel is to be old french hotel-ish.
