Pottery Barn's Spring Sparrow Duvet is the inspiration... (these are pics from their catalog)
The room's challenge is its pale yellow color. The theme will be Safari/Naturalist, Birds/Garden. A small room with one window, a Full/Queen antique (medium/dark) wood bed. Will have canvas full length curtains, bamboo rods, with embroidered sheers. Need two bedside tables for the outrageously cool monkey lamps. (will post pics). Needs a large full length mirror... light, masculine, but not TOO. Will post pics later. The bird motif is driving the design away from the Safari idea, but the canvas, and leather and dark wood will nod that direction.
Ordered, duvet and shams.
(Note: I looked at thousands of duvet covers - on ebay, amazon, nordstrom and dozens more sites - Pottery Barn has by far the best looks, quality and staging, imo.)
